Who I Am
Naanu nimma Gopi, people know me as Mimicry Gopi. Acting's not just my bread and butter - it's really what I love doing. For me, film and television is all about connecting with the janate (people) and making you laugh or think, sometimes both at once.
Film Journey
- Been lucky to work in Kannada films - you might spot me in 'Room No. 111' playing a cop, or as a swamiji in 'Bhageera' next to Prakash Raj sir.
- I keep trying out different versatile character roles, sometimes small, sometimes big, but always something new.
- Latest was 'Rangasamudra' - feels good to see my work get noticed.
On TV
- Regular face on Kannada comedy television performances like 'Maja Talkies'. I love the madness and energy of those sets.
- Got painted head-to-toe as an Avatar character on 'Hoo Antiya, Huhoo Antiya' - chindi fun (super fun).
- On 'Dance Karnataka Dance', I get to mix my mimicry skills in acting with dance - paid tribute to Ambareesh sir and Shankar Nag, which is close to my heart.
- Supporting roles in serials like 'Gouripurada Gayyaligalu' and my swamiji character keep me busy and happy.
What I Give
- I go all in, whether it's simple makeup or getting into a totally different look.
- Comedy is my base - if I can make you smile, my job is done.
- I know the drill on set, worked with Zee Kannada, Star Suvarna, Colors Kannada - always try to be easy to work with.

My Story
Nanu nimma preetiya Mimicry Gopi. Comedy artist life andre, janara mukhadalli sanna nagu tarisodralli sigō santoshavē bēre (making people smile is real happiness). Nanna family - Usharani, Appu, namma mane - idu nanna world. Simple celebrations, doddamma birthday, Appu birthday, yella manele khushi. Kelasa nimitta oora-ooru suttodhu, Hubli-Dharwad rotti oota miss madalla. Dubai, Malaysia, Bahrain - Kannada janara preetigagi perform madidini. Koneyalli Mysore Chamundeshwari taayi darshana, adu manassige nemmadi.
