On a shoot day, it is about balancing the technical setup—like dialing in the strobe lights for a specific lehenga texture—with the right energy on set to get a natural expression. In our Kirti Nagar studio, the music is playing, the MUA is doing touch-ups, and we are constantly shifting angles to catch the right mood, whether it is a high-fashion editorial or a personal brand portrait.
The Making of a Fashion Portrait
At Aperture 7 Studios, a shoot is never a passive experience. Whether we are building a model's portfolio or shooting a brand lookbook, the process is deliberate. We start with the mood board—deciding on the color palette, the styling, and the specific lighting setup to match the vibe we want to achieve.

Fashion photography is a team sport. For our editorial sessions, the on-set synergy between the fashion stylist, makeup artist, and the subject is what determines the final image quality. We spend time on expression coaching, guiding the model on how to move and interact with the lens to ensure the pose feels authentic, not stiff.
