About The Cycle Stack
More than just a photo opportunity, these stacks are how we mark our presence in the city. When we lean our bikes together, it’s usually after a long, quiet stretch of road, right before we grab some lemon tea or start the deepest part of our conversation. It’s a grounded way to say we were here, we explored this, and we did it together.
We started these rides because we missed the simple, old-school joy of cycling with friends, where the conversation mattered more than the odometer. Our stacks aren't staged; they happen wherever the ride takes us. One week it might be outside a cafe in Indiranagar, the next it’s against an ancient tree in Defence Colony, or on a quiet residential street in Thippasandra. These photos are snapshots of our community—a mix of regulars and first-timers who show up with their own cycles, helmets, and a bit of curiosity.
Cycling at night in Bengaluru comes with its own reality. We navigate potholes, avoid open drains, and steer clear of crazy traffic by sticking to well-lit, familiar routes. We aren't a fitness club, and we certainly aren't a speed-racing group. We are a community that values safety, conversation, and the freedom to reclaim public spaces when the rest of the city is asleep. If you join us, expect a pace that lets you talk, listen, and actually see the city. We don't provide support vehicles or mechanics, so come prepared to manage your own ride. It’s just us, the road, and the stories we share at our pit stops.
Midnight Cycling
We are a bunch of Bengaluru folks who swap parties for night air. We keep things slow, focus on conversations, and ride to reclaim the city’s quiet lanes for everyone.
