Group photos do not have to be a chore. I avoid the endless, awkward lineup routine by mixing in candids and letting your crew interact naturally. Whether it is the groomsmen’s banter or flower girls being themselves, I focus on the connection rather than just getting everyone to smile at the camera.
The best moments happen when you forget I am even there. That is why I approach group shots differently. Instead of shouting instructions to 'stand here' or 'look there', I keep the energy high and the poses loose. If the groomsmen are joking around or the bridesmaids are having a laugh, that is when I get the shot that actually matters.
