Learn Professional Mehndi Art: From Sketch to Skin
Every masterpiece starts with a single line. I teach you the foundation of sketching, proportions, and detailing to turn you from a beginner into a confident, earning mehndi artist.
Every expert was once a beginner. We start with the absolute basics, practicing different borders, fillers, and traditional patterns on paper. This is how you build the muscle memory and control needed for complex henna designs.
Practice makes perfect. Here I am sketching a bridal figure on a notepad while traveling on a train. I use every moment to refine my art, a discipline I encourage in my students.
Practice is key to perfecting portraiture. This video shows two of my practice sketches on a notepad, one of Lord Krishna and another of a traditional wedding scene. My classes emphasize drawing on paper first to master the design.
A close up of me sketching a portrait on paper. Notice the tool I use for fine lines. I provide all the necessary tools and teach you how to use them effectively.
A compilation of my practice sketches, showing various bridal figures and scenes. This is the design work that happens before the cone even touches the skin.
A look at my sketchbook, filled with various design elements from florals to animal motifs like elephants and swans. We build a visual library of patterns in my class.
More pages from my sketchbook, showing complex compositions with dancing figures and traditional borders. This is the level of design planning I teach.
About this collection
My teaching method is simple: before you ever touch a client's skin, you master the anatomy on paper. We spend focused time on sketching bridal faces, jaal patterns, and floral borders until your hands move automatically. This practice ensures that when you actually start working with henna cones, you are not guessing—you are executing a design you have already perfected.
Building Your Mehndi Foundation
Learning mehndi is not just about holding a cone; it is about training your eyes and hands to work in sync. In my classes, we start with the absolute basics—making your own henna cones, mastering pressure, and understanding the flow of floral vines and mandalas.
The Path from Paper to Hand
Many beginners struggle because they jump directly to skin. My 'From Sketch to Skin' module forces you to slow down. We use notepads and tracing sheets to build your visual library. Whether you are drawing a traditional peacock motif or complex bridal figures, practicing on paper allows you to fix mistakes without the pressure of a client waiting.
What You Will Master

- Complex Composition: How to layer jaal (net work) and cut-work so your designs look cohesive, not cluttered.
- Portraiture: Learn to capture expressions and realistic features for celebrity-style portrait mehndi.

I don't just teach the art; I teach the trade. Whether you join my intensive 10-day Bridal Certification Course or a specialized 5-day portrait masterclass in Sampangi Rama Nagar, you will graduate with the technical skill and the business knowledge to price your work and manage your own clients. This is not just a hobby workshop—this is training to build your own career.
