About this collection
While traditional Indian mehendi covers every inch of skin, my Arabic style focuses on graceful, diagonal trails of vines and bold floral patterns. This creates a balanced, modern look that leaves enough skin exposed, making it an excellent choice for engagements, parties, or festive occasions where you want elegance without the long sitting time of traditional bridal work.
Arabic mehendi is defined by its fluid, open-space aesthetic. Unlike the intricate, full-coverage jaal patterns common in traditional Indian mehendi, Arabic designs typically follow a diagonal flow across the palm, starting from the index finger and trailing down to the wrist. I use bold, thick strokes for the outlines, which makes the floral and leaf motifs pop, while delicate shading adds depth.
Just like all my work, I apply these designs using my own homemade, 100% organic henna cones. You get the same deep, dark reddish-brown stain that my bridal clients love, but with a lighter application that dries faster and feels less heavy.
This style is versatile and practical for events like baby showers, college festivals, or office functions. It offers a clean, sophisticated look that is less prone to smudging as you move through your day.
