My approach to traditional mehendi focuses on the timeless motifs that define our culture. Whether you want the majestic elegance of peacocks and blooming lotuses, or the geometric precision of a 'Jali' pattern, I draw every line with care.
A traditional, full-coverage piece usually takes 45 to 60 minutes of focused application. I always suggest my clients sit back and enjoy the process because the quality of the stain depends on the freshness of the henna paste. I mix my own organic henna without any harsh chemicals, so you get that rich, dark maroon colour that everyone loves.
I often incorporate architectural elements like 'Jharokha' windows or temple-inspired borders into these designs. It’s a way of telling a story on your hands, connecting the old-school techniques with the energy of your event.
