About Seasonal Comforts
My winter special Sarson da Saag is the real deal with 300ml of slow-cooked mustard greens, served with two handmade Makki di Rotis, white butter, and gur. I do not use shortcuts—the saag is slow-cooked for hours to get that authentic texture and deep flavour, exactly like we make it at home.
Food is about more than just taste; it is about the mood and the memories attached to a season. That is why I rotate my menu throughout the year. When the Delhi monsoons hit, nothing feels better than a hot, steaming bowl of Rajma Chawal. I make sure the rajma is cooked slow so the gravy is thick and flavourful, the way you crave it while watching the rain.
When the temperature drops, we switch to our signature winter comfort: Sarson da Saag and Makki di Roti. We serve a generous 300ml portion of the saag, tempered with traditional spices, and pair it with fresh Makki rotis. We do not skip the essentials—you get that authentic dollop of white butter and a piece of jaggery to finish it off. It is simple, honest, and it hits the spot every single time.
