How I Approach Remixing

I view a remix as a way to bridge the gap between your original vision and the specific energy needed on a dancefloor. My process starts with a full stylistic overhaul. I identify the vocal hooks or melody lines that define your song, then build the arrangement from the ground up.

My technical process includes:

• Drum & Bass Reconstruction: Whether you need the heavy, driving rumble of Techno or the high-energy triplets of Psytrance, I program custom drum patterns that maximize dancefloor impact.
• Advanced Sound Design: I use Ableton Operator and Wavetable to build custom synths, risers, and impact sounds from scratch, ensuring the final mix sounds fresh and original.
• Vocal Processing: I chop, stretch, and process original vocal hooks to fit the new tempo and key, making them sit perfectly within the mix.

Technical Standards

Every remix or mashup is produced in my acoustically treated studio in Gurugram. I test mixes on Pioneer VM-80 monitors to ensure they translate accurately to club sound systems. When we finish, you get a full mix and master, including an extended DJ-friendly version with proper intro and outro sections, so you can drop it directly into your set without any extra editing.
