My approach to the Pulse project is rooted in the same technical discipline I use for studio production. Psytrance is a delicate balance of frequency management and atmospheric tension. I design my sets to create a narrative, starting with grounded, driving beats and evolving into the transcendental, melodic textures that define the genre.

Technical Foundation

Every session, whether in a club or on an outdoor festival stage, benefits from a rigorous approach to sound. I focus on:

• Bassline Precision: Using techniques like triplets and rumble alignment to ensure that low-end punch is felt, not just heard.

From playing alongside legends like Infected Mushroom at Club Soho, Delhi, to performing at the Dhwani Festival in the Himalayas, I understand the importance of adapting to the environment. An indoor club setup demands tighter, punchier sound control, while an open-air mountain stage allows for longer, more sweeping builds that resonate with the natural surroundings.
