About The LTM Fellowship: Your Journey as a Music Changemaker
This fellowship is not just about mastering an instrument. It is an 18-month commitment where you spend roughly 37% of your time in classrooms, 37% in professional training, and the rest planning or reflecting. You will be learning to teach Hindustani Classical, Guitar, and Ukulele, but the real work happens in the government schools and community centers where you help children turn lessons into social impact.
More Than Just Music Lessons
When you join our Learning Through Music (LTM) Fellowship, you are stepping into a comprehensive professional development journey. We treat this as a full-time career path, not a volunteer gig. Our 'Teacher to Facilitator' (T2F) workshops are designed to equip you with the skills to lead classrooms, manage community music initiatives, and even handle audio production.
Where You Will Work
Our work spans across Delhi NCR. You might find yourself teaching in a government school, facilitating a workshop in one of our community centers, or running a session inside our Music Bus—our mobile recording studio on wheels. This variety ensures that every week brings new challenges, whether it is helping a student write their first song about environmental issues or coordinating a large-scale student showcase.
The Support System
We know that teaching is emotionally demanding. That is why our fellowship includes ongoing mentorship and emotional wellness support. You are not just teaching children; you are learning how to be a leader, a communicator, and an artist who understands the social context of their craft.
