About Music Educator & Leadership Fellowship
Why I Believe in Music for Change
Music is more than just notes and lyrics for us at Manzil Mystics Foundation. We see it as a powerful way to build confidence and spark curiosity in kids. Sab padhenge, sab badhenge (Everyone will study, everyone will progress) - that's our driving thought.
What the Fellowship Looks Like
- Our Learning Through Music (LTM) Fellowship is an 18-month, paid, full-time journey based in Delhi.
- Fellows spend about 37% of their week teaching music in schools and communities, and 37% on professional training for their own growth.
- The rest of the week, you'll find yourself planning, rehearsing, and reflecting - it’s a mixed bag, not just classroom stuff.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Not just a music teaching fellowship - you become a community music facilitator.
- We train you to teach Hindustani Classical vocals, Guitar, and Ukulele, but also how to use music for social change, explain tough ideas, and guide songwriting.
- You’ll work in government schools, after-school centers, and even our 'Music Bus' - a recording studio on wheels.
Who This Is For
- If you’re 18-25, serious about music, and want to do more than just perform, this is for you.
- You’ll need to be ready for full-time commitment in Delhi and have a real drive to make a difference.
Udenge unchaiyon par, kahin par rukna nahi hai (We’ll fly to great heights, there’s no stopping).

My Story
What if a song flips a kid’s whole world? That’s our jam at Manzil Mystics Foundation. Music for us is way more than just 'sur' and 'taal' (notes and rhythm). We’ve watched shy kids grab the mic, classrooms turn into spaces of masti (fun) and teamwork. Lyrics like 'bachana hai sansar' (save the planet) and 'udenge unchaiyon par' (fly high) aren’t just words, they’re dreams we chase together. We make safe spaces, trust kids to create, and let joy lead learning. Changemakers start here.
