Our Music Bus is more than a vehicle; it's a doorway to new dreams. We take it to government schools to give students a first-hand look at a professional recording studio and spark their curiosity about music production.
Inside the Music Bus, an audio production student gets hands-on experience at the mixing desk. We provide real-world learning environments where students can turn theory into practice.
This is how we use the Music Bus: to give students unique opportunities to record their own music and learn the technical skills of audio engineering, from mic setup to final mix.
Our Kalakaar fellows explore the Music Bus, a mobile studio where they will soon record their own songs. This facility provides them with invaluable industry-level experience.
Here it is: India's First Mobile Music Classroom & Recording Studio. This project, supported by SBI Card, is designed to promote mental health and provide professional skills through music.
The interior of our Music Bus is a fully equipped music classroom and studio. It has seating for 10 students, allowing us to conduct intimate, high-quality workshops on the go.
About The Music Bus: Our Studio on Wheels
This isn't just a vehicle. Inside, you will find a fully soundproofed environment where students go hands-on with real recording gear. From learning correct mic placement to handling the mixing desk, we provide the technical environment usually reserved for professional city studios, but we bring it right to your school gate.
A Studio That Moves
When we realized that access to professional equipment was a barrier for many talented kids, we decided to break the walls down. India's first mobile music classroom and recording studio was born from that simple need. It is fully soundproofed and air-conditioned, with dedicated seating for up to 10 students, making it a functional classroom on wheels.
What Happens Inside
Our Music Bus deployment isn't just about showing equipment. We bring a professional sound engineer and experienced facilitators to every session. Students don't just watch; they do. They learn how to capture clean audio, manage live input, and understand the flow of sound production. Whether it is a group recording a song about constitutional values or an aspiring artist laying down their first track, the bus provides a space where their voice is treated with professional respect.
Why We Do It
We believe that music is a language of learning. Sab padhenge, sab badhenge (Everyone will study, everyone will progress). By taking the studio out of the studio and into the school parking lot or community center, we remove the intimidation factor. Kids who might never step into a commercial studio feel comfortable, safe, and excited to create here.
Bringing the Bus to You
We operate mainly across Delhi and NCR, supporting government schools, community hubs, and institutional programs. The setup includes onboard power, professional condenser microphones, studio monitors, and industry-standard DAW software. We handle the logistics, driver, and technical support so the host organization can focus entirely on the students and the creative process. It is a practical, effective way to introduce audio engineering and music production skills to young people who are ready to rise.
