Before we even touch a brush, we talk about what makes you feel like you. Whether you want a bold traditional look or something subtle for your roka, I ensure your skin breathes and your features are enhanced rather than covered up. We will test products to make sure nothing feels heavy, keeping your natural glow front and center.
My Approach to Bridal Makeup
I know the common worries—will the base look cakey? Will it melt under the venue lights? Will I look like someone else in the photos? My goal is to answer these with 'no'.
Skin-First Philosophy: Every bridal look starts with skin prep. I don't just jump into foundation. We look at your skin texture, your CTM (cleansing, toning, moisturizing) needs, and any specific concerns like pigmentation or acne. We prep the base so it stays fresh for hours, not just for the first ten minutes.
Tailored to Your Style:
- Fusion Looks: Bringing together different cultural aesthetics, like a Punjabi-South Indian fusion, is one of my favorite things to do. It’s all about balancing bold eyes with traditional jewelry.
- The 'You' Look: You don't need a heavy mask to look like a bride. If you prefer a subtle highlight over heavy glitter, or a matte finish over dewy, we go with that. The most important thing is that when you look in the mirror, you recognize yourself.
- Longevity: I use waterproof, sweat-resistant products because I know how emotional and long these ceremonies can get. Your makeup needs to survive the rituals, the heat, and the hugs without budging.
The Process: When you book me, we don't rush. We discuss the outfit, the jewelry, and the vibe of the event. I’m there to guide you on what will look good on camera versus what will look good in person. My studio in Delhi is a space where you can relax, have a coffee, and get ready without any of the usual wedding-day drama.
