About My Process: Behind the Scenes & Tutorials
You will notice I am obsessed with the prep phase. My tutorial reels are not just for show. Before a single drop of foundation touches your skin, I spend time properly hydrating and priming. If you are struggling with cakey foundation, it is usually not the product itself, but the lack of hydration beforehand. I use a mix of gentle mists and high-end moisturizers because if the canvas is not smooth, the art will not last.
My makeup philosophy is simple: Enhancing is always better than transforming. You should look like you, just with that golden hour glow dialled up. Whether you are preparing for your own wedding or just want to master a soft glam look for a night out, the secret is rarely in the expensive palette, it is in the routine.
Why the process matters
I post these raw, filter-free videos because I want you to see the reality of professional makeup. When I work on a bride in Mumbai or a model on a commercial shoot, the process is identical. It starts with skin analysis. I am fussy about tools because dirty brushes are the fastest way to ruin a look and irritate sensitive skin. That is why I have a zero-tolerance policy: single-use sponges only.
Common questions I get:
- Why does my makeup look cakey? Usually, it is skipping the hydration phase. You need to let your moisturizer sink in before the primer hits.
- How do I make it last 12 hours? It is all in the layering. Thin layers of long-wear foundation outperform thick, heavy swipes every single time.
- What about mature skin? I focus on lifting techniques and hydrating serums like Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair to keep the base flexible, not static.
When you hire me, you are not just paying for the final look. You are paying for the time I take to understand your skin texture and the hygiene standards that ensure you won't have a breakout later. Let's stop hiding under heavy layers and start working with what you have. If you are ready to learn, or ready to get ready, let's talk.
