About South Indian Muhurtham Brides
Getting ready for a Muhurtham often means very early mornings and heavy Kanjeevarams. I focus on sweat-proof HD bases that handle the heat of temple venues, combined with pre-pleated sarees so you are not stressed about your draping while the rituals begin.
Your wedding look should be about tradition and comfort. For South Indian Muhurtham ceremonies, I blend high-end products like MAC and Huda Beauty to ensure your makeup survives the heat of the rituals without looking cakey.
My Muhurtham Process
I believe in the 'no filter' approach. What you see in these photos is exactly how the makeup looks in real lighting.
- Skin Prep: I use a sweat-proof HD base tailored for early morning Muhurthams, ensuring it stays flawless under harsh stage lights and temple lighting.
- Hairstyling: The Poola Jada is iconic. I provide the Savri (hair extension) for volume and use fresh Malle (jasmine) flowers to complete the look.
- Saree Draping: If you are wearing a heavy Kanjeevaram, I offer pre-pleating services. This saves you time and stress, allowing you to focus on the ceremony rather than the drape.
I also make sure the bride and groom are coordinated. If you have any specific cultural requests or want to keep the look traditional with a bold lip or soft cut-crease, we can discuss that. Heng ansutte? That is the most important question for me at the end of every session. I want you to walk to the mandap feeling like yourself, only more radiant.
