I teach kids that magic is about more than just tricks. Join my workshops in Kasturi Nagar to master sleight of hand, conquer stage fright, and find your voice on stage.

I almost peed my pants before my first stage show. I share this story with kids to show them that even professional performers get scared. In this video, I talk about how I conquered my stage fright, a lesson I pass on in every workshop.

A glimpse from one of my "Tyson's Academy of Magic" summer camps. You can see a young student confidently pointing, fully engaged in learning a new trick. This is what it's all about: empowering kids to become performers themselves.

About this collection

These sessions are not just about learning how to vanish a coin. We actually spend time talking about the nerves that hit before a performance. Whether your child is naturally outgoing or a bit shy, we use breathing techniques and storytelling exercises alongside magic to help them stand tall in front of an audience.

Why Magic?

For me, magic was the key to overcoming my own stage fright. I remember my first show—my heart was pounding, and I almost walked away. That is why my workshops at Kasturi Nagar go beyond the simple mechanics of tricks. It is about the 'how-to-be' on stage.

The Curriculum

  • Foundation: We start with 90-minute introductory sessions where kids learn three foundational tricks using everyday objects like tissues, rubber bands, and cards. No expensive props are required.
  • Performance: For those ready for more, the 5-day Junior Magician Certification covers 10+ tricks, including mentalism and object levitation. We film rehearsals, provide peer critique, and end with a graduation show for parents.

Building Confidence

Every kid needs a boost, and my goal is to help them find it. We focus on:

  • Public Speaking: I teach kids how to use their voice and make eye contact while performing.
  • Stage Fright: We practice deep breathing and visualization techniques to keep calm.
  • Crowd Management: Kids learn how to handle unexpected moments, like dropping a prop, with a smile.

Small batches of 5 to 15 kids ensure every student gets personal attention. The aim is for every child to leave with the skills to get a 'joragi chappale hodibeku' (loud applause) when they nail a trick.
