When I document your event, I do not use intrusive flashes or staged posing that disrupts the flow. For ceremonies and live performances, I rely on silent shutters and fast prime lenses, allowing me to capture authentic reactions and fleeting expressions without becoming a distraction to your guests.
I approach every project with the mindset of a photojournalist. My goal is to capture the complete story, from the quiet preparation before the event to the final moments of celebration. Whether I am documenting a classical dance performance where timing and expression are critical, or covering intense spiritual gatherings in places like Bodh Gaya and Varanasi, my process remains consistent: observe, anticipate, and preserve.
Technical precision is non-negotiable. I use the Nikon Z6 paired with fast prime lenses. This setup gives me the low-light capability required for indoor ceremonies and candlelight rituals without needing harsh lighting that kills the atmosphere. For events where silence is mandatory, such as funerary rites or meditation sessions, I exclusively use silent shutter modes to ensure I remain completely unobtrusive.
I am comfortable in chaotic, high-energy settings, such as festivals in the lanes of Kashi, where the environment is constantly shifting. Conversely, I maintain a respectful distance during intimate rituals, using telephoto reach to get clean, candid frames without intruding on the sanctity of the moment. My deliverables reflect this diversity, offering a mix of raw, high-contrast imagery and carefully color-graded portraits, all delivered with a focus on narrative rather than just coverage.
