How I See Events
Every event is its own story. I don’t just click photos, I try to catch the whole vibe - the real moments, not staged ones. Whether it’s a packed festival or a personal ceremony, I want people to feel the experience when they look at my work.
My Style
I work like a photojournalist, blending in and letting things unfold. I focus on:
- candid event photography, so you get raw emotions and genuine interactions
- atmospheric details, like the crowd energy or how a single diya lights up a night
- the full timeline, from pre-event prep to the big finale
What I Shoot
I cover a lot, but I’m drawn to events with real meaning:
- Cultural and spiritual gatherings - from Dev Diwali in Varanasi to Dalai Lama’s teachings in Bodhgaya. I respect the traditions, capturing the spirit, whether it’s a fire ritual or quiet meditation. Om Namah Shivay.
- Documenting live performances - especially classical Indian dance like Bharatanatyam. I freeze expressions, mudras, and backstage moments.
- Emotional ceremony photography - like funerary rites at Manikarnika Ghat, where I work quietly and respectfully.
My Tools
I use pro gear - Nikon Z6, sharp lenses, and solid lighting setups. So, even in tricky low-light or fast action, I’m covered.

My Story
I’m Madhav Ritik. Delhi College of Photography taught me the technical stuff, but real inspiration hits me in places like Kashi, Manikarnika Ghat, or Bodh Gaya. Sometimes I’m shooting glossy plates for commercial food photography, other days I’m lost in raw street photography, chanting 'Om Namah Shivay' as I frame life and death. My work swings between studio lights and spiritual India photo series. It’s all about the story, yaar.
