When we start a shoot, I do not just set up the camera. Whether it is food or products, I spend the first part of our session aligning the lighting—using Profoto strobes for that exact, shadow-less finish you see in my catalog work. For you, this means fewer re-shoots and images that look ready for platforms like Zomato or Amazon right out of the camera.
Whether I am shooting a restaurant menu or a fashion lookbook, my approach remains grounded in technical precision. I rely on full-frame Nikon Z6 bodies and sharp prime lenses—typically the 85mm—to ensure the texture of a velvet fabric or the crisp details on a hot dish are captured perfectly.
When you work with me for commercial projects, we skip the guesswork. If it is an e-commerce catalog, we strictly adhere to the technical requirements for platforms like Amazon or Swiggy: pure white backgrounds, accurate color temperatures, and shadow-less lighting. If it is a creative campaign, we shift to detailed mood boards, using Profoto strobes and modifiers like snoots to create the specific chiaroscuro or high-key look your brand identity demands.
