This was taken 11 years ago, the day this beautiful soul came into my life. Whiskey is the reason I started baking, and she is the inspiration behind every single treat I make.
Eleven years later, and our bond is stronger than ever. Whiskey has been with me through everything. She is my sanity, my joy, and the heart of this entire journey.
Whiskey has her rituals, like waiting for the first monsoon drizzle every year. She is not just my dog; she is my partner in crime and the official taste tester for everything that comes out of my kitchen.
This is Whiskey's "weekend mode" face. She knows when I'm cooking up something special in the kitchen and always hangs around, hoping for a little sample. Her personality brings so much light to my life.
About Our Story: It Started with Whiskey
Everything we make happens in small batches, right here in the kitchen. Because I use zero preservatives, our food has a short shelf life of about 2 to 3 days in the fridge. It requires a bit more planning than store-bought packets, but it ensures your pet gets the same nutrient-dense, fresh meals that I feed my own Whiskey every single day.
When I started KuBi, I didn't want to build a pet food company. I just wanted to make sure Whiskey had something healthy to eat. That evolved into a commitment to other pet parents who were tired of reading labels filled with chemicals they couldn't pronounce.
Every box that leaves our kitchen is a reflection of that original promise. We stick to real ingredients like fresh chicken, mutton, liver, and local vegetables. You won't find sugar, salt, or fillers in our recipes. If it isn't good enough for my own dog to eat, it doesn't go into a KuBi box.
Our kitchen has seen a lot, from the quiet days to the chaos of the pandemic. Through it all, we have kept our focus on freshness. This means we are hyper-local. We cook, we deliver, and we feed. Our street dog initiative is a huge part of who we are; every time you order for your pet, you are directly helping us support a street dog in our neighborhood.
