This video shows the electrolysis procedure in action, a method I use for permanent hair removal. A very fine probe delivers heat energy directly into the hair follicle to destroy it, preventing future growth. It is an ideal solution for stubborn, individual hairs on the face or body.

Electrolysis is distinct because it targets hair follicles one at a time, making it the effective standard for stubborn hairs that laser treatments often miss. Whether you are dealing with white, grey, or fine hormonal hair on your face or chin, this method ensures the follicle is destroyed completely. Because I insert a single-use sterile probe directly into the follicle to deliver energy, the results are permanent rather than just a reduction. It does require patience and multiple sessions, but it provides a clean, lasting fix for hair that simply refuses to respond to other methods.
How Electrolysis Works
Unlike laser hair reduction, which targets large areas, electrolysis is a precise, mechanical process. I insert a fine, sterile probe into the individual hair follicle. Once in place, a small amount of electrical energy (via galvanic, thermolysis, or a blend method) is delivered to destroy the growth center of the hair. Once the follicle is destroyed, it cannot produce a new hair.
Why Choose This Over Laser?
Laser hair reduction relies on pigment to target the hair. If you have grey, white, or very fine blonde hair, laser cannot 'see' the hair, making it ineffective. Electrolysis does not rely on pigment. It is the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal, regardless of your hair or skin color.
What to Expect
This is not a quick fix. Each hair must be treated individually. A 15-minute session can typically treat about 40 to 60 hairs. Because hair grows in cycles, we need to treat hairs when they are in the active growth phase. This is why you will need to return for several sessions to see the area cleared. We will work through the area systematically during each visit, ensuring safety and precision.
