About Medical Dermatology
What I Believe
Getting healthy skin isn't about shortcuts. I look at your whole lifestyle, not just what happens in the clinic. My focus is on practical, evidence-based care that actually works for your skin, not just what’s trending on Instagram. We'll work together to build a plan that feels doable for you, whether you're struggling with acne at 16 or pigmentation at 40.
Busting Skin Myths
There's so much bakwaas (nonsense) about skin out there! No, popping pimples never helps. Oily skin still needs moisturizer. And if a product burns, chhod do (leave it) - that's a sign of irritation.
What I Treat
Most folks come in for things like:
- Acne, blackheads, and those stubborn acne scars. For tough cases, I use Q-Switched laser acne treatment and carbon peels.
- Pigmentation and melasma solutions, including dark spots, sun damage, and under-eye circles. Think chemical peels, PRP, and advanced lasers.
- Chronic skin disease management like urticaria (hives), fungal infections, keratosis pilaris (rough skin bumps), and molluscum (viral bumps). Diagnosis is key, because guesswork won’t fix these.
How I Work With You
Your skin is not like anyone else’s, so your plan shouldn’t be either. I’ll ask about your lifestyle, what you’ve tried, and what’s actually realistic for you. I’ll always explain the why behind every step. Never use other people’s meds - trust me, it usually backfires.
One Thing Everyone Should Do
Sunscreen. Roz lagao (use daily). SPF 30 or more, reapply if you’re out for long. It’s simple, but it works.
