About this collection
I don't just drape you in a saree and ask you to smile. We play with the juxtaposition of tradition and attitude. Whether it’s pairing a classic silk saree with sunglasses for that 'sanskari' rebellion or using smoke and shadows for something ethereal, the goal is to make the outfit look like an extension of your own fire. We'll decide the location and vibe during our pre-shoot chat so it feels like yours, not a template.
Traditional attire has a language of its own. Most times, it is treated as something stiff or overly formal. I prefer to break that pattern. When I shoot a lehenga or a saree, I am looking for the story behind the drape. Is it about grace, or is it about the silent power a woman holds?
My process is simple. We start with the vibe you want. Do you want the 'sanskari' cheekiness with sunglasses? Or something quieter, like my 'Moksha' series, focusing on raw expression? I use studio lighting to carve out features, or we head outdoors to catch the light hitting the fabric in a way that feels organic.
These are not catalog shots. If you look at the work here, you will see a mix of studio drama and street-style attitude. I handle the composition and the technical side, like the high-end skin retouching and color grading, but the attitude? That has to come from you.
