Handmade Macrame Plant Hangers & Baskets
Give your green friends a cozy home. I design these baskets using soft, natural cotton cord to add a touch of warmth to any corner of your space.
This macrame wall basket is one of my favorite ways to display 'planties'. The pocket holds a small pot securely, and the fringe adds a soft, decorative touch.

About Baskets & Hangers for Your Planties
These aren't just generic holders, they are little homes for your green friends. I build them on rigid 8-10 inch bamboo frames, weaving a secure diamond-pattern pocket specifically designed to hold 3-4 inch pots. Whether you have succulents or trailing vines, the design is sturdy enough to keep them safe while the cotton fringe adds that soft, boho vibe to your wall.
Materials and Craft
I use high-strength 3mm or 4mm twisted cotton cord for all my plant hangers. The natural, undyed cream color is a conscious choice—it lets the green of your plants really pop. Every piece is knotted by hand, focusing on a dense lattice pattern for the pocket to ensure it supports the weight of your 'planties' without stretching out.
Styling Your Space
These look great on a balcony, in a sunlit reading nook, or just against a plain white wall. Because they use a bamboo or cane circular frame, they feel organic and light. You do not need to worry about heavy mounting—a simple wall hook does the trick.
Making It Yours
I love doing custom work. If you have a specific pot size or want a different color cord, let me know. We can chat about the dimensions of your favorite succulent or pothos and I will adjust the weave to fit perfectly. Everything is made to order with intention, so feel free to ask about modifying the fringe length or the hoop size.
