Photography is about more than standing in front of a lens. It is about capturing the specific way your child laughs or the gentle look parents share with a new baby. My approach is to strip away the distractions. I use clean, modern backdrops and natural light to ensure the emotion in every image remains the hero.

Why the Studio Setting Works

My studio in Mahim is a controlled environment, which is often a relief for parents with young children or energetic pets. We don't have to worry about weather, public crowds, or finding the perfect spot. It is a calm, temperature-controlled space where we can take our time. If your family feels more comfortable at home or in a familiar setting, we can discuss that, but for that timeless, editorial look, the studio is ideal.

Including Your Pets

I firmly believe that fur babies are family. If you want to include your dog or cat in your portraits, you are more than welcome. I have worked with many families to integrate pets safely and comfortably into the session. It often helps children relax and leads to the most genuine, candid smiles.

Preparing for Your Session

• Styling: I recommend coordinated, solid-colored outfits. Avoid heavy patterns or logos that distract from your faces. I send out a style guide upon booking to help you choose colors that look great against my studio backdrops.
• Timing: We will plan the session around your child’s nap and meal times. A happy child makes for a smooth session.
• Interaction: My job is to prompt natural interaction. I will give you little tasks—like hugging, playing, or telling secrets—so you forget I am even holding a camera. This is how we get those 'real' smiles instead of forced poses.
