About The Tiniest Details
Most parents ask me when the best time for these portraits is. For that sleepy, curled-up look, I strongly recommend scheduling between day 5 and day 15. At this age, your little one is naturally drowsy and comfortable being gently posed, which is exactly how we get those peaceful, soft-focus shots without any stress for the baby.
When you book a session with me, you are not just getting a photographer; you are getting a partner in preserving your family’s most precious transition. I understand that the days following birth are intense, which is why my priority is always the comfort and safety of your infant.
The Session Experience
My newborn photography sessions in Bengaluru are designed to be entirely baby-led. We allow ample time—usually 3 to 4 hours—to ensure there is plenty of time for feeding, changing, and gentle soothing. You will never feel rushed. Whether we are using soft mohair wraps or vintage crates, the setup is kept warm and sanitized.
Why the 15-Day Window Matters
Newborn lifestyle photography relies on the baby being in a deep sleep. After the first two weeks, babies naturally become more alert and start to stretch out, making certain classic poses more difficult. Capturing them while they are still tiny ensures we get those perfect, curled-up shots that highlight their delicate features, like tiny toes, hands, and those small, sleepy expressions.
