Artistic and Cinematic Wedding Photography in Mumbai
I blend photojournalism with fine art techniques to create images that feel like a scene from a movie. Expect dramatic lighting, intentional motion, and raw, honest emotion.

About My Artistic & Cinematic Style
When we shoot, I will often ask you to slow down or hold a position in specific light. It might feel a bit different, but this patience allows me to play with shadows, reflections, and motion blur to get those moody, cinematic shots. If you want images that look less like standard event documentation and more like a scene from a film, this is the process I follow.
I rely on a mix of photojournalism and fine art. My gear, including full-frame mirrorless cameras and fast prime lenses, lets me work in low light without flash where possible, preserving the natural mood of your ceremony. This approach keeps the focus on the connection between you and your family, rather than the equipment.
The Power of Black and White
I process many of my portraits in black and white because it strips away the distraction of color. It forces the viewer to focus on the raw emotion in the eyes or the curve of a smile. This is not just a filter, but a deliberate choice to make the image timeless and clean.
Playing with Light and Motion
Sometimes, I use slower shutter speeds to create a deliberate motion blur. This technique captures the energy of a Sangeet dance floor or the passing of time during a quiet, intimate moment. It is not for everyone, but if you like a touch of mystery and drama in your album, this style works beautifully. I also use off-camera flash setups for receptions to sculpt the form of the couple, giving the photos a three-dimensional, painted quality.
Shooting Across Mumbai
My studio is in Borivali West, but I travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area for these shoots. Whether we are at a heritage property or a simple home set-up, I look for the same dramatic light and candid connection. You get high-resolution edits and, if you choose my 2-day package, a premium flush-mount album to hold these memories.
Kavish Photography
Hey, Kavish here. My camera is my sidekick, and I am based right here in Borivali West. I chase the tiny, quiet stories—the way the light hits or a shy glance—because that is where the real feeling lives.
