Sangeet and Reception Photography

When shooting Sangeet and reception events, my priority is movement. Static photos do not do justice to a dance performance or a lively entry, so I rely on a combination of high-speed photography and cinematic video. I use full-frame mirrorless gear, prime lenses, and off-camera flash setups to handle the dramatic, low-light environments often found in reception venues.

My team, typically consisting of 3 to 4 professionals, ensures nothing is missed. While one of us focuses on the candid reactions and emotional embraces, another covers the traditional stage requirements and family groups. My cinematographer uses gimbals to keep the highlight reels steady and smooth, capturing the party flow rather than just individual moments.

I deliver 500+ edited images and a cinematic wedding highlight film, usually 20 to 30 minutes long, that covers the entire celebration, from the Sangeet madness to the final reception dance.
