Beverage & Cocktail Photography
I capture the mood of your drinks, from dark, sophisticated bar scenes to crisp, refreshing daytime serves.
A romantic and elegant shot for a champagne cocktail. The deep red of the drink is complemented by fresh roses, creating a perfect mood for special occasions. The lighting is focused to catch the bubbles and the rich color.
A classic mimosa, styled with a wisp of smoke from a rosemary sprig for a touch of drama. The dark background makes the bright orange juice stand out, while the Sola champagne bottle in the back provides context for a premium cocktail.
A straightforward and refreshing shot of Six Fields Cult wheat beer. The focus is on the crisp, cold look of the beer in a tall glass, with the can placed clearly beside it. This clean style is effective for catalog and website imagery.
Here, I used strong, direct light and a bold green background to make this can of Six Fields beer pop. The water droplets on the can give it a fresh-out-of-the-fridge look, making you want to grab one.
This shot captures a casual, sunny vibe with these patterned glasses filled with a summer cooler. The bright pink cloth and partial view of a food plate create a realistic lifestyle scene, showing the product in use.
A decadent spread featuring red wine, a rich plum cake, and dark chocolate. The hand holding a honey dipper adds a dynamic, human element to this dark and moody composition, making it feel like a moment captured in time.
About Beverage & Cocktail Photography
Photographing liquids requires more than just a camera; it is about controlling reflections and managing the temperature of the shot to make it believable. Whether I am capturing the crisp condensation on a beer can or the elegant rim of a champagne flute, my goal is to ensure your product looks thirst-quenching and premium, ready for any menu or social feed.
There is a distinct difference between shooting a static product and a drink that implies movement. When I shoot cocktails, I focus on the interplay of light and texture. For dark and moody shots, I often use directional, low-key lighting to highlight the rich colors of spirits and the garnish details, creating a sophisticated vibe perfect for upscale bar menus or luxury brands.
Conversely, for summer coolers or wheat beers, I switch to bright, airy setups. I use backlighting to make the liquid glow and accentuate the natural hues of the beverage. This technique is particularly effective for e-commerce listings or summer marketing campaigns where clarity and freshness are the priorities.
My process for commercial beverage photography includes:
- Liquid Styling: I manage details like artificial condensation and perfect garnish placement, which are crucial for making a drink look freshly poured even after a studio setup.
- Surface Control: Reflective surfaces like glass bottles and metallic cans are tricky. I use multi-light setups to ensure we get clean highlights without unwanted glare.
- Dynamic Action: For campaigns that need a bit of energy, I execute splash and pour photography using high-speed sync to freeze the movement of ice or liquids in mid-air.
I have collaborated with establishments like Whiskey Amour in Gurgaon to create imagery that aligns with their specific brand identity. Whether you need clean catalogue shots for your beverage line or atmospheric hero images for your website, I adapt my approach to ensure the final product meets your requirements.
