Gurudwara and Sacred Ceremony Floral Decoration
Creating serene spaces for spiritual gatherings with fresh, vibrant floral arrangements across Delhi NCR.
A grand floral arch for a Gurudwara event, made with a vibrant mix of sunflowers, roses, and other seasonal blooms. This kind of large-scale decoration creates a welcoming and festive entrance for the congregation.
An elegant Palki Sahib canopy designed for an Anand Karaj ceremony. I used fragrant white jasmine strings (mogra) and arrangements of white roses and lilies to create a pure and serene atmosphere.
This video shows my team setting up the Palki Sahib canopy. You can see how the delicate strings of jasmine are hung to create a beautiful curtain effect around the sacred space.
To create a blessed pathway for guests, I decorated the entrance staircase of the Gurudwara with thick garlands of fresh white flowers and green leaves, leading up to the main hall.
About Gurudwara & Sacred Ceremony Decor
For Gurudwara setups, I focus on the Palki Sahib canopy as the heart of the space. My team and I hand-string fresh mogra and tuberoses to create that specific curtain effect shown in the gallery—it’s not just about the visual, but ensuring the fragrance and freshness last through the entire duration of your ceremony.
Bringing Grace to Your Sacred Events
When I work on a Gurudwara setup or a sacred ceremony, I understand that the decor needs to be respectful, calming, and clean. Whether it is an Anand Karaj, a Gurpurab celebration, or a quiet prayer meeting, my goal is to frame the space so it feels peaceful for everyone attending.
My Approach to Sacred Decor
- The Palki Sahib Canopy: This is often the focal point of the ceremony. I use high-volume fresh flowers like tuberoses (Rajnigandha) and jasmine (mogra) to create a fragrant, lush environment. I prefer using dense, layered strings to get that traditional look while ensuring the structure remains stable and elegant.
- Floral Arches & Entryways: For the entrance, I prefer a mix of foliage and seasonal blooms. It creates a welcoming path for the congregation. I don't believe in over-cluttering; I focus on clean lines and natural color combinations—usually whites, yellows, and oranges—that suit the sobriety of the occasion.
- Logistics & Freshness: I know these events can be long. That is why I personally oversee the flower selection to ensure we use blooms that hold up well without wilting. My team handles the setup and the final dismantling, so you and your family can focus entirely on the prayers.
I travel across the Delhi NCR region for these events. If you are planning a ceremony, let me know your venue, and we can discuss a layout that fits your space.
