Mehendi Training and Design Workshops in Mumbai
Master the art of henna with a structured approach. We prioritize foundational practice on acrylic hands to perfect your cone control before you begin working on skin.
Practice is the foundation of good art. This video shows me working on a floral strip on a practice sheet, focusing on consistent line weight and shading, which is the first step for all my students.
Practicing intricate patterns on an acrylic hand is a crucial step in my training. This allows students to build confidence and muscle memory for complex sider and bridal designs without the pressure of working on skin.
About Learning the Craft: Practice & Technique
Before you commit to a full course, know that my training methodology starts away from the skin. We spend significant time on paper and reusable acrylic hands to build your muscle memory. This allows you to master steady pressure and line consistency without the pressure of a live subject, ensuring you are confident when you move to real henna application.
To master henna, you need to understand the relationship between paste consistency and hand pressure. My courses, held at my Matunga studio, focus on professional-grade technical skills rather than just copying patterns.
The Training Process
My classes are built on small batches of 3-5 students. This ensures I can physically correct your hand posture, cone angle, and stroke pressure in real-time. Whether you are a total beginner learning to roll a leakage-proof cone, or an artist aiming to execute complex 3D shading, the focus is on technique.
