Go from holding a cone for the first time to mastering bridal portraits. My one-month course in Mulund combines hands-on practice with technical skills to start your journey as a professional artist.

Every artist starts with the basics. Here is a look at some of the fundamental border and belt designs we practice on paper to build a steady hand and learn pattern consistency.

More practice sheets from my beginner's module. We cover a wide variety of simple and complex borders, from leafy vines to geometric patterns, which form the building blocks of any great mehndi design.

Practice is everything. This sheet shows more foundational elements, including lines, humps, and simple fillers that are essential for creating clean and intricate mehndi art.

Here is a live tutorial showing how to practice creating scale-up patterns. We start with a simple grid and build up the design, focusing on symmetry and detail. This is a great exercise for improving control.

Practice makes perfect. This is me in my zone, practicing intricate bridal hand designs on paper. Dedicating time to practice is how you refine your skills and develop your own unique style.

I am always inspired by other artists in our community. Here is my attempt at recreating a beautiful design featuring elephants and a peacock, showing how we can learn and grow by studying the work of masters.

This is a close-up of a bridal figure I created with henna on paper. Learning to draw expressive faces and detailed clothing is a key part of my advanced bridal course.

Another look at the bridal figure sketch. Notice the fine details in the jewelry, the braid, and the delicate shading. These are the techniques you will learn to master.

The same bridal sketch in black and white, which helps to highlight the line work and contrast. This shows the importance of bold and fine lines in creating depth.

About The Course Journey: From Basics to Bridal

We do not start on hands, we start on paper. You will spend hours mastering cone grip, pressure control, and border consistency before you ever draw on skin. It is not magic, it is muscle memory. I review every single line you draw personally, so you know exactly where you are making mistakes.
