About On the Turf: Skills, Drills, and Game Play
Every session at Rush Arena follows a specific flow: we start with fundamental drills like one-touch passing and dribbling, then move directly into game-like scenarios. This approach helps players immediately apply what they learn, whether they are five years old or training for a school team.
We believe the best way to learn hockey is by playing, not just by listening. Our training sessions on the artificial turf at Cooke Town are structured to be inclusive, ensuring that players of all skill levels, from total beginners to those aiming for advanced competition, find the right challenge.
Building Complete Athletes
We don't just teach stickwork. We integrate sessions with The Fit Squadron to build agility and endurance, and coordinate with sports nutritionist Ryan Fernando to teach kids how to fuel their bodies for the game. This holistic approach means our campers walk away fitter, sharper, and more aware of their own potential.
The Coaching Experience
Our camps are led by Olympian Jude Felix and a team of FIH-certified coaches who focus on real-time feedback. You won't find static rows of kids waiting for their turn here. We keep groups small and split them by skill, so every player gets personalized attention during tactical drills and goalkeeper training. It is about building confidence, mastering the fundamentals of ball control, and most importantly, experiencing the joy of the game. If you are looking for a place where your child can learn discipline, teamwork, and the love of hockey, we are ready to welcome them to the turf.
