For smaller Mehendi or Haldi events, I stick to a base palette of two main tones and use purposeful lighting, like fairy light canopies or targeted uplighters, to bridge the gap between fabrics. This method keeps the space looking vibrant and festive without feeling visually crowded or overdone.
When we plan for a colorful event, the goal is to balance intensity with comfort. A common mistake in event decor is using too many competing colors, which can make a space feel smaller or chaotic. We prefer to use a cohesive palette—often blending marigolds, fuchsia, or pastel combinations—and layer them with textures like satin or chiffon drapes.
