About My Original Productions
When I start an original track, I don't just loop a beat. I’m currently obsessing over my ‘Tumbipiano’ experiments, where I take the raw, earthy soul of the Punjabi Tumbi and throw it into a modern Amapiano groove. Whether you need an instrumental track from scratch or a high-energy remix that fits a club set, we’ll start with a rough concept and I’ll build the rhythm and sound design around it until it hits hard.
How We Make It Happen
Music is a conversation, not just a file delivery. My production work falls into two lanes: custom club remixes and original instrumental compositions. For remixes, I take your existing track and give it that 'Desi Jersey' or 'Amapiano' flip—handling vocal processing, time-stretching, and structural arrangements so it’s ready to drop in any DJ set.
For original compositions, we go from zero to finished master. This is where I use a mix of VST synthesis and organic sampling, like real Thavil or Dhol percussion, to get that specific texture.
The Process
- Concept: We talk about the vibe. Is it for a club, an ad, or a personal release? I need to know the goal.
- Drafting: I build the beat, program the drums, and handle the sound design.
- Refining: You get to hear the progress. I include 2 rounds of revisions for remixes and 3 for originals, so we get the EQ and mix perfectly balanced for club sound systems.
- Delivery: You receive high-quality 24-bit WAV and 320kbps MP3 masters. For instrumental originals, I also provide multitrack stems.
Why Global-Desi?
My sound, like in my 'Desi Jersey OG' EP, is about refusing to choose between our local rhythm and global electronic trends. I’m always experimenting with genre fusions—think Baile Funk mixed with Punjabi folk.
