Collaborations & Studio Sessions: Global-Desi Sound
Music is a conversation, and I love bringing new voices into the room. From studio jam sessions to B3B sets, this is where the creative energy happens.
In the studio with my friend Mukt, working on our "Hello" edit. You can feel the energy when we're creating and bouncing ideas off each other.
Another studio session with Mukt, dropping our "Wo Ajnabee" remix. We've got more EMOPiano tunes coming your way soon.
The official video for our "Wo Ajnabee" Amapiano remix. This was our first official collaboration, and you can find it on SoundCloud and Bandcamp.
The official artwork for my "Woh Ajnabee" remix, my first official collaboration with Mukt. This is EMOPiano at its finest.
Working remotely with DJ Mattz on our "Sanam Re" EMOPiano remix. It's amazing to be able to collaborate with artists no matter where they are.
A weekend studio session with the incredible Grzly Adams. We remixed the classic "Carpet Patrol" by Torky Tork and Suff Daddy, just vibing and creating.
The artwork for "Shipment 006," a Baile Funk edition featuring tracks from me, Mukt, and Interrupter. This was a B3B set where we all brought our flavor.
Just hanging out with the gang. Music is always the answer, whether we're in the studio or just chilling with some tea.
Tea and turntables with the crew. These are the moments that fuel the creative process.
About Collaborations & The Crew
If you are planning a collab, just remember that the vibe matters more than the gear. Whether we are doing a remote remix or a late-night studio session, I prefer working with artists who have their vocal stems clean and ready to go. Before we even touch the DAW, I want to know what your sonic goal is because blending genres like Amapiano or Jersey Club needs a clear vision from the start.
Music production is rarely a solo sport. Honestly, the best tracks come from bouncing ideas off people who challenge your perspective. I have been fortunate to work with artists like Mukt, DJ Mattz, and Grzly Adams, and every session changes how I look at sound design.
The Collaborative Process
When I collaborate, I prioritize the creative spark over rigid structures. Whether it is a B3B (Back-to-Back) set at a club or a custom remix for a specific EP, the workflow starts with aligning on the mood. I am big on vocal processing and drum programming, so if you are coming with a demo, we will spend time getting the rhythm patterns—like those triplet kicks in my Amapiano experiments—just right before moving to the mix.
Remote or In-Studio
I operate out of my studio in Mumbai, but the internet makes geography irrelevant. I have worked with producers across time zones, using file sharing and live streams to get the levels and EQ perfect for club sound systems. If you have an idea, a half-finished track, or just a sample you cannot get out of your head, let us get it on the grid. We focus on turning your vision into a club-ready track that hits hard on any system.
Jayhaan
I am Jayhaan, and for me, music is just the answer. I love mixing up Bollywood, Punjabi, and electronic beats in the studio, but nothing beats the energy of a good collab. It is just me, the crew, and a whole lot of tea-fueled sessions making noise.
