Professional Press-on Nail Making Workshop

A key part of my workshop is teaching you how to instruct your future clients on applying their press-on nails. I explain the importance of nail prep, like using a cuticle pusher and a small buffer, to ensure the nails stick properly and last longer.

One common mistake people make with press-ons is forgetting to file the small tab at the tip, which can look very ugly. I teach my students the correct way to hold the nail and use a buffer to remove it, ensuring a clean, professional square shape every time.

Here’s a little trick I share in my class for making nail glue work better. To activate the glue, you need to make it a bit warm and runny. This helps it adhere properly to the nail, ensuring a strong and long-lasting bond for your press-on sets.

In my press-on workshop, I explain the different nail sizes available, from short to extra-long. I also share a practical tip: if you're running a studio, it's often best to start with longer tips because you can always cut and shape them down to fit any client's preference.
