About Wall Art: Birds, Blooms & Whimsy
Because I use premium Russian sculpture paste to build 3D petals, these pieces have a real, tactile texture you can actually touch. Every flower and leaf is sculpted by hand with a palette knife, so your wall art isn't just a painting—it's a vibrant, textured garden that stands out from the surface, turning a blank wall into a focal point.
I believe art should have depth. Unlike standard canvas paintings, my Russian sculpture work is built up in layers, sometimes reaching an elevation of up to an inch. This technique requires patience and precision, as I use a palette knife to shape each petal individually. A single piece can take anywhere from a few hours to over ten hours to complete, ensuring that the final result is far from a mass-produced item.
My collection of birds, blooms, and whimsy celebrates the details in nature. Whether it is the intricate feathering of a peacock, the soft curve of a tulip, or a storybook scene with a butterfly and bunny, my goal is to create something that makes you pause and smile. I source high-quality sculpture pastes, often from brands like Evgenia Ermilova, to ensure that the 3D relief remains stone-hard and durable over time.
Everything is fully customisable. If you have a specific color palette that matches your living room sofa or a favorite bird you would like to see sculpted on a panel, we can design it together. I apply multi-layer matte or gloss varnishes to protect against dust and humidity, making these pieces suitable for long-term display in your home. These works are designed to catch the light and create shadows that change throughout the day, so your wall never looks exactly the same twice.
