The Art of Creation: Behind the Scenes of 3D Sculpture
Welcome to my studio. Watch how I transform blank canvases into textured, 3D floral gardens using palette knives and a whole lot of patience.
This video tells a special story of transformation. I took a client's damaged baby handprints, restored them, and created this beautiful new keepsake wall art for them to cherish forever.
A satisfying 60-second video showing the entire process of creating a sculpted flower on a hexagonal coaster, from the first petal to the final touch.
A short process video showing the creation of a bird's nest wall art, from mixing the paste to sculpting the flowers and birds.
A satisfying compilation of various texturing techniques I use, including stenciling and mirror mosaic grouting.
A close-up video showing the process of creating bi-colored red and white flowers for a custom clock.
A satisfying video showing the creation of a vibrant yellow rose, from mixing the paste to sculpting each delicate petal.

About this collection
It takes me anywhere from one to ten hours to finish a single piece. When you watch these videos, you are seeing the texture being built petal by petal. I use palette knives rather than brushes to ensure that every swirl and floral arrangement is unique, rather than a mass-produced print. If you see a technique you like, let me know, and we can incorporate that specific texture into your order.
The Technique Behind the Texture
Russian Sculpture Art is a slow, meditative process. Unlike traditional painting, where you layer pigment, I use a specialized palette knife to sculpt with a dense, high-quality paste. This allows me to create raised, three-dimensional petals that you can physically touch. Whether it is a vibrant yellow rose or a delicate, multi-colored blossom, the depth comes from the actual volume of the material, not just shading.
Why Every Piece is One-of-a-Kind
Because I create each piece by hand, I cannot replicate a design exactly. When I mix a color, I am looking for the right shade for your space. When I sculpt a petal, the curve depends on how the paste settles in that moment. This means your clock, nameplate, or wall art will truly be yours alone. I love it when clients ask me to experiment with new color palettes or themes because it pushes me to create something we haven't seen before.
Durability
I understand that wall art is an investment. That is why I use premium Russian and Indian sculpture pastes that dry to a stone-hard finish. After the sculpting is done, I apply a multi-layer matte or gloss sealant. This creates a protective, dust-resistant barrier, meaning your art stays vibrant and protected from humidity for years to come. You can clean them with a simple dry-wipe, and the flowers will remain as crisp as the day they were made.
