Stranger & Street Portrait Sessions in Delhi
I’m Harry. I roam Delhi’s streets with my camera to turn a random 'Hi' into a cinematic story. If you’re camera-shy or just want a portrait that feels real, let’s make it happen.
I found these two creatives just chilling in a park. We instantly connected over our shared passions, and they were happy to pose for some portraits. This video shows the fun, spontaneous energy of my shoots.
I met these beautiful ladies from Ladakh and just had to ask for a portrait. They were so sweet and quickly agreed. It's moments like these, connecting with people from different places, that make my work special.
The streets of Khan Market are always buzzing with creative energy. I spotted this group of artists and politely asked for a few portraits. They were all so welcoming and let me capture their fun vibe.
I spotted these friends in Sunder Nursery having a long-awaited reunion. Their laughter was infectious, and they were kind enough to let me capture their group photos. It’s all about capturing those real, happy moments.
While biking through Himachal, I saw these girls coming back from college. Their traditional outfits looked beautiful against the mountain backdrop. I stopped and asked for a few pictures, and this is the result.
It was her birthday, and I happened to approach them in Lodhi Garden at just the right time. I used my Samsung phone for these portraits, proving that we can create beautiful memories with any camera.
These two have been best friends for over 10 years. I found them catching up in Sunder Nursery and loved hearing their story. My goal is to capture the essence of relationships, whether it's friendship or love.
About this collection
Most folks think I only shoot strangers, but I actually love working with people who are camera-shy. If you're nervous about posing, don't worry—I'll guide you through simple movements until you forget the camera is even there. We'll pick a spot like Lodhi Garden or Khan Market, chat for a while, and get those natural shots without any awkwardness.
My Approach to Street Portraits
When I approach someone on the street, my goal isn't to get a 'perfect' pose. It is to capture the vibe of that moment. Whether we are in the historic lanes of Old Delhi or the open greens of Sunder Nursery, I focus on the connection. If you are looking for a portrait that actually looks like you—not a stiff, overly edited version—you are in the right place.
Why Book a Session?
- Comfort First: I know being in front of a lens can be intimidating. We will spend the first 10 minutes just chatting so you feel like you are hanging out with a friend, not a photographer.
- Flexible Gear: Depending on the aesthetic we want, I use my Sony Alpha for those deep, creamy bokeh shots or my flagship Samsung for that crisp, viral-style reel quality.
- Location Freedom: While I love Lodi Garden and CP, I am happy to meet you at a location that holds meaning for you. Whether it is your college campus, a cafe you love, or a quiet park corner.
What to Expect
We start with a quick consultation about the mood you want. Do you want something cinematic and moody? Energetic and fast-paced? Or just simple, clean portraits? We will decide on outfits and locations before we start. You do not need to be a model. You just need to be yourself, and I will take care of the rest. Let's make something mast (awesome) together.
