We were thrilled to partner with Chef Manu Chandra, who shares our passion for fresh, homegrown ingredients. Hear him talk about how our microgreens add unique flavor profiles and nutritional value to the incredible dishes at his restaurant.
Small but mighty, our microgreens are used by top chefs to add complexity and a fresh finish to their dishes. Here you can see them being used to plate a beautiful dish at LUPA, showcasing their culinary potential.
Ready to grow your own Pak Choi microgreens in just 8-12 days? These tiny greens are fast, fresh, and full of nutrients, making them a perfect addition to a healthy diet.
To grow your own Pak Choi microgreens, you'll just need our high-quality seeds, a shallow tray, some cocopeat, a spray bottle, and a bright spot away from direct sun. It's that simple!
Why grow Pak Choi microgreens? They are packed with vitamins A, C, and K, add a wonderful crunch and mild spice to meals, and grow in almost no time.
Step 1 for growing microgreens: Soak the seeds for 4-6 hours, fill your tray with 1-2 inches of soil, and then sprinkle and press the seeds lightly onto the surface.
Step 2: After sowing, keep the tray in the dark for 2-3 days until the seeds have sprouted. Once they pop up, it's time to move them into the light!
Step 3: In just 8-12 days, your microgreens will be 2-3 inches tall. Harvest them with clean scissors, rinse, and enjoy them in salads, wraps, and bowls.
A strong crop begins with well-planned sowing. We believe in using clean, viable seeds and a well-prepared seedbed to ensure uniform germination and healthy growth from the very start.
Even for tiny microgreens, the journey starts with meticulous groundwork. Every tray is carefully filled with the right growing medium and leveled to create the ideal bed for germination, a process rooted in care and horticultural insight.
About From Our Garden to Your Table
Consistent harvests start with the right seed quality and substrate. Whether you are growing Pak Choi or Basil, our kits use professional-grade seeds specifically tested for the Bengaluru climate, ensuring you get a usable crop in just 8 to 12 days rather than a tray of failures.
Grow Fresh, Harvest Often
Transitioning to homegrown food doesn't require a large backyard. We have worked with everyone from home cooks to professional chefs like Manu Chandra to perfect the microgreens growing process. These tiny greens are nutrient-dense powerhouses that provide immediate flavor and texture to your daily meals.
The Science of Our Seeds
Our journey began in 1965, and our expertise lies in high-germination hybrid seeds. When you buy a DIY kit from us, you aren't just getting seeds; you are getting a structured growing system.
- Seed Selection: We provide vegetable, flower, and herb seeds sourced directly from manufacturers with high success rates.
- The Process: Our kits include sterile potting mix or cocopeat, which is essential to prevent fungal issues often found in non-sterilized soil.
- Local Support: We operate experience centres in Banashankari, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, and Halasuru. If your seedlings are leggy or you are unsure about light levels, drop by for a quick consultation.
Why Start Now?
Gardening is a skill that compounds. Start with a simple microgreens kit to understand germination, move to herbs like basil or coriander, and eventually build a full kitchen garden. We are here to help you navigate the trial and error that comes with any real growing experience. If you are ready to get your hands dirty, we have the seeds, the kits, and the advice to help you succeed.
