Motorcycle Track Training at MMRT Chennai
Don't just ride faster, ride better. Our T.W.O. Track School at Madras International Circuit breaks down the science of motorcycling into real, actionable skills.
Here I explain our training philosophy. Level 1 is about learning to ride better, focusing on core skills. Level 2 is where we teach you how to go faster, safely. It's a structured approach that works for everyone.
A classroom session in progress. Riders are fully engaged as one of our instructors breaks down complex riding concepts into easy-to-understand lessons.
A full house for the rider briefing. We make sure everyone, from first-timers to seasoned riders, is on the same page about track etiquette and safety before we head out.
There's never a dull moment when you're learning from some of the best in the business. Our students are all geared up and ready to absorb the knowledge.
"See where you want to go." I'm explaining the concept of vision, one of the most critical skills for any rider. Your bike goes where you look.
The conversations in the paddock are just as important as the time on track. Here, riders and instructors share insights and experiences.
An instructor giving a hands-on demonstration of body position. This practical, one-on-one feedback is crucial for our students' development.
An instructor leads a group of riders on the track, guiding them through the proper lines and techniques in a real-world setting.
Following the instructor is a key drill for learning the track. It helps build a mental map of the circuit, including braking, turn-in, and apex points.
Riders lined up and ready for their next on-track session. An instructor gives some last-minute advice before they head out.
About The T.W.O. Classroom: Learn From the Pros
We keep our batches intentionally small. Whether you are aiming for Level 1 certification to clean up your street riding habits or moving to Level 2 to shave time off your laps, the focus remains on personal feedback. You get off-track classroom sessions followed by real-time drilling on the circuit, ensuring you aren't just guessing what to do with your throttle or lean angle.
How We Train
Forget the guesswork. We run our sessions at the Madras International Circuit (MMRT), giving you a safe, controlled environment to figure out what your bike is actually doing. We don't just put you out there and hope for the best.
We structure our training into levels, taking you from basics to advanced techniques:
- Level 1 (Foundation): This is for everyone. If you ride on the street, this will make you a better, safer rider. We focus on brake control, vision, and body position. We teach you to unlearn the bad habits you've picked up on the road.
- Level 2 (Advanced): This is for when you are ready to find more speed. We get into tighter lines, better cornering technique, and optimizing your throttle control.
- Open Sessions: For our alumni who have completed Level 1 and just want maximum track time to practice what they've learned.
What To Expect
We provide the full support structure so you can focus on the ride. This includes FMSCI-certified instruction, on-site mechanics to help with your bike setup, and a full medical support team on standby.
If you have your own motorcycle, bring it. We'll handle the scrutiny and setup. If you don't or don't want to thrash your street bike, we offer rental packages with race-prepped Yamaha R15s. You get the track time, the data logging to see exactly where you are losing time, and the classroom theory to understand the physics of the turn. It is intense, it is structured, and it is a hell of a lot of fun.
IndiMotard Adventures
We have been at this long enough to know that going fast is actually a byproduct of riding right. My team and I aren't here to teach you how to be a hooligan. We are here to break down the science of cornering, braking, and body position, so you can actually enjoy your machine.
