Core Medical Infrastructure
- Bedding: Radiant warmer or standard bassinet in the sterile NICU zone.
- Staffing: 24/7 monitoring by trained neonatal nurses (1:3 or 1:2 ratio) and daily Neonatologist rounds.
- Monitoring: Continuous tracking of heart rate, SpO2, and respiratory rate.
Treatments Included
- Phototherapy: Single or double surface LED Blue Light for Jaundice correction.
- Feeding: Management of Orogastric/Nasogastric tube feeding if the baby cannot suckle.
- IV Therapy: Administration of basic fluids (saline/glucose) via syringe pumps.
Consumables & Diagnostics
- Daily Labs: Bilirubin checks, Random Blood Sugar, and infection screening (CRP/CBC).
- Hygiene: Hospital-grade diapers, sterile wipes, sanitizer, and disposable gloves.
- Medication: Oral supplements (Vitamin D/Calcium) and basic antibiotics.
Parental Support
- Lactation: Bedside guidance for expressing milk or breastfeeding.
