Our Educational Philosophy in Action
At Inaaya, we believe early education is about more than books. It is about building confidence, teaching boundaries, and letting children be themselves through guided play and hands-on discovery.

About Our Educational Philosophy in Action
A lot of parents ask us how we handle big emotions or teach children to respect personal space. We do not just lecture; we role-play. Whether it is asking before a hug or learning to say 'no' when they feel uncomfortable, we give your child the vocabulary to set their own boundaries. It is a small, daily practice that builds the confidence they carry for life.
How We Put Philosophy Into Practice
Our approach is built on the belief that children thrive when they feel safe and understood. We move away from rigid, rote memorization and embrace a 'learning through play' model that celebrates curiosity.
Teaching Consent and Boundaries One of the most important life skills we focus on is bodily autonomy. As you can see from our activities, we teach children that their choices matter. We model simple phrases like 'I don't like that' or 'Please stop' and teach them to ask before touching. By normalizing these conversations early, we help children feel empowered, safe, and respectful of others in every environment.
The Art of Messy Learning We believe that if a child is not getting a little messy, they probably aren't learning enough. Our curriculum in DLF Phase 1 balances structured academic prep with the freedom to explore through art, science experiments, and sensory play. This develops cognitive, emotional, and motor skills simultaneously.
Raising Independent Thinkers We encourage children to take ownership of their environment—whether that means packing their own bags, tying their shoes, or cleaning up after playtime. These small tasks are not chores; they are exercises in responsibility and self-reliance that prepare them for the real world. We treat every child as an individual with a unique spark, ensuring they leave us ready for school, but more importantly, ready for life.
Inaaya
I started Inaaya because I wanted a place where children feel like they are at home. I treat every student as part of my own family, focusing on their unique spark rather than a rigid syllabus. It is warm, it is messy, and it is entirely centered on what your child needs to grow.
