Family Portraits
Real connections, frozen in time. These portraits focus on the bond between parents and children, captured in a quiet, relaxed studio space.
A warm and intimate family portrait. The dark background helps to emphasize the connection and love between the parents and their child.
A classic family portrait. Everyone is looking at the camera, creating a timeless photo that will be treasured for years to come.
A beautiful black and white maternity portrait that doubles as a family photo, capturing the love and excitement of the whole family.
This tender family moment during a maternity shoot is a perfect example of the emotional, connected portraits I strive to create.
About this collection
I spend my time getting down on the floor, making silly faces, or just waiting for that perfect, quiet look of love between you and your kids. It is never about perfect poses, but about how you interact when you think no one is watching.
My approach to family portraiture has always been about stripping away the distraction. Whether you were in my M3M Golf Estate studio in Gurugram or I was shooting on location in Delhi NCR, the goal was always simple. I wanted to capture the way your partner looks at your children or the comfort of a quiet cuddle.
For these sessions, I often used hand-painted textured backdrops or high-key white setups to keep the focus entirely on your family. We never rushed. If the kids needed a moment to settle or a break for snacks, we took it. The best expressions always came when the pressure to perform for the camera disappeared.
I am currently not taking on new photography projects as I am taking time for myself and my own family. However, if you are looking for tips on how to prepare for your own session or want to know what kind of lighting or props work best for a home setup, feel free to drop me a message. I still have a lot of love for this craft and enjoy talking shop with anyone who values a thoughtful, classic approach to photography.
Ila Sagar
I am Ila. After nine years of capturing everything from newborn giggles to messy cake smashes, I have hit a point where I am pausing my sessions to focus on family and new creative inspirations. I am not booking new shoots, but I am still here if you want to chat about photography or have questions about how to get the most out of your own portrait session.
