About On The Road: National & International Gigs
When I travel for gigs outside Bangalore, I pack my own performance-ready controller. For larger club or festival setups, I work with your technical team to ensure the sound system is calibrated correctly. I do not just show up and play. I check the venue's acoustic profile before landing to adapt my set list to the local crowd.
Booking a DJ who travels means bringing a guaranteed sound profile that your local guests might not be used to. My sets are open-format, ranging from Afro House and Latin House to Desi Hip Hop and UK Bhangra. I build a sonic journey that bridges cultural gaps, whether I am playing for a crowd in Mumbai, a wedding in Goa, or a club night in Dubai.
Logistics are the biggest concern for event hosts. When you bring me on board for an out-of-station gig, we handle the logistics upfront. I provide a standard technical rider that clearly outlines the gear needed on-site, like Pioneer CDJ 3000s and a DJM 900 mixer, so your local sound rental partner knows exactly what to prepare.
Adaptation is key for international or cross-state events. I do not play the same set in Kolkata that I would in Chennai. I research the local vibe, read the room during the first hour, and adjust my BPM and track selection accordingly. This approach ensures that whether it is a corporate gala or a private rooftop party, the energy remains consistent throughout the night. If you have specific cues for entries, cake cutting, or speeches, we map those out during our pre-event consultation to keep the flow seamless.
