Real Training Results from Our Sessions
Curious about what positive training actually looks like in a busy city? These clips show real Hoo-Dog sessions where dogs learn to focus, stay calm, and ignore distractions, regardless of how chaotic the park gets.
Look at this good boi, Griffin, holding his focus like a champ. Even with kids playing and another dog nearby, his attention is completely on his trainer. This is what I aim for: a dog that chooses to listen to you, no matter what's happening around them in a busy Bangalore park.
This is Togo, a small dog with big impulse control skills. He's calmly holding a 'down stay' while a child runs past, another dog approaches, and a motorbike is nearby. I help dogs of all sizes learn to relax and ignore triggers common in apartment living.
I'll never forget Copper the toy poodle's first time outdoors. We took it slow, letting him explore the grass and pavement at his own pace. Making these first adventures positive is key to building a confident dog who isn't scared of the world.
Here's a look at a group session with some powerful personalities. I'm carefully managing the energy between a Belgian Malinois, a Rottweiler, and a Labrador. My supervised group sessions are all about teaching dogs how to interact safely and have fun together.
This is an advanced 'stay' exercise perfect for multi-dog households. I asked Amber to stay while I walked away with Floyd. She held her position perfectly, even with the distraction of her buddy leaving. This kind of training builds incredible impulse control.
Welcome to puppy school. Here you can see a fun group session with a Golden Retriever, Labrador, and Shih Tzu all learning together. I create a positive and playful environment where puppies and their hoomans can learn the basics of socialization and obedience.
About Featured
These aren't staged studio shots. That's Griffin in a busy Bengaluru park, holding his 'focus' command while kids play and another dog walks by. This is the reality of our training—we don't isolate dogs in empty rooms. Instead, we teach them how to stay calm right in the middle of real-world chaos, using high-value rewards and patience rather than force.
When you see these videos, you're looking at the core of our 'train, don't blame' approach. We believe every dog is a good boi; they just need a bit of guidance to navigate city life. Whether it’s a tiny toy poodle stepping onto pavement for the first time or a high-drive Malinois learning to coexist with other dogs, our method remains the same.
Why we train this way:
- Real-World Proofing: Training inside a quiet living room is easy. Training in an apartment parking lot with motorbikes, kids, and other dogs passing by is where the real work happens. We go to the spots where you actually face trouble.
- The Long-Line Advantage: Notice the 15-20ft leashes in the videos? They give the dog a sense of freedom while we maintain absolute safety. It helps them build confidence without the restriction of a short leash, especially during initial socialization.
- Impulse Control over Commands: We focus less on 'sit' and 'stay' and more on the ability to choose calmness when excited. If your dog can ignore a pigeon or a running child, they are well on their way to being a confident city companion.
We know living in Bengaluru with a pet can be tough. From managing noise sensitivity to dealing with reactivity on walks, we've seen it all. If you are struggling with a specific behavior, look through these clips to see similar issues we have tackled before.
