I translate complex emotions into steel. These sculptures explore human bonds, resilience, and traditional icons through fluid, modern metal forms.

An abstract Ganpati crafted from fragments of polished stainless steel, mounted in a frame. This piece symbolizes strength, resilience, and new beginnings, deconstructing the form to its essential spiritual energy.

A close-up of "The Bond," a sculpture representing the love between a mother and child. The flowing lines of stainless steel create an abstract figural form that is both strong and tender.

From my Bull Series, this freestanding sculpture in polished stainless steel features an engraved bull. The distorted reflections on the curved surface give the powerful figure a sense of fluid motion.

"Serenade in Steel," a sculpture capturing a musician lost in her melody. This abstract figure, crafted from steel rods and polished forms, embodies the harmony between rhythm and song.

"The Bond" on display in a gallery. This view shows the full 78-inch height of the stainless steel and brass sculpture, highlighting its elegant and commanding presence.

A detail of the interlocking forms in "The Bond." The way the steel bands curve and connect represents the inseparable and protective nature of this relationship.

"Eternal Grace," a freestanding sculpture in mirror-polished stainless steel. The subtle curves suggest a poised feminine figure, reflecting the world around her and symbolizing how a woman embodies the life she touches.

Here I am with "Eternal Grace" at an exhibition. The sculpture's reflective surface catches the vibrant colors of the event, demonstrating its interactive nature.

My sculpture "Eclipse" on display at the Mumbai Art Fair. The contrast between the rough Corten steel base and the bright, reflective stainless steel top explores the idea of light emerging from darkness.

About Figurative & Symbolic Works

My figurative work isn't about rigid anatomy; it is about the emotional energy of a subject. When I craft pieces like the 'Mother-Child' bond, I use flowing stainless steel lines to capture a moment of tenderness and protection. These sculptures are designed to react to your environment, with mirror-polished surfaces that catch and shift with the natural light in your room throughout the day.

Translating Emotion into Metal

Creating figurative art in metal requires balancing the material's inherent strength with the softness of the subject matter. In this collection, I move away from literal representation to focus on the 'essence' of a form. Whether I am working with stainless steel, bronze, or brass, my goal is to strip away the noise and leave only the core feeling.

The Series

  • Human Bonds: My 'Mother-Child' series, including pieces like The Bond, uses continuous loops of steel to represent unbreakable connections. The interplay of polished steel and brass accents emphasizes the depth of the relationship.
  • Symbolic Power: Works like my 'Bull' series and abstract 'Ganesha' interpretations use distorted, reflective surfaces to represent strength and new beginnings. These aren't static objects; they interact with your space by reflecting the colors and movement around them.
  • Dynamic Storytelling: In pieces such as Serenade in Steel, I use structural metal rods to capture the fluidity of motion—a musician lost in her melody, frozen in time but full of rhythm.

Materiality and Placement

I predominantly utilize 304-grade stainless steel for its durability and mirror-finish capabilities, often contrasting it with stone or Corten steel bases to ground the piece. These figurative works are versatile:

  • Tabletop & Console: Perfect for 18-30 inch pieces that command attention in smaller spaces.
  • Freestanding Statements: For larger 6-8 foot structures, I provide weighted bases to ensure stability, making them ideal for lobbies or well-lit living areas.

Every piece comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, and for larger installations, I provide professional installation support within Mumbai, including site-specific spatial checks to ensure the lighting hits the steel exactly as intended.

I spent years in business before fully committing to sculpture, and that blend of discipline and creativity drives how I work. Every piece in this collection is a conversation between rigid metal and the soft human emotions I want to capture. I don't just shape steel; I invite it to tell a story for your home.
