About Friendship Peak: The Ultimate Challenge

Friendship Peak is not your average trek. You will be using crampons, ice axes, and ropes for glacier crossings, so we make sure our guides are AMC-certified pros. The summit day starts at midnight because the snow softens by noon. It is physically demanding, but that is the trade-off for standing on top of the Pir Panjal range.

This is a high-altitude expedition that demands respect. You are not just walking; you are climbing. At 17,346 ft, the air is thin, and the terrain is technical. We run this 7-day program out of Manali, beginning with acclimatization walks through local forests to let your body adjust. By day 4, you are pushing for the summit.

What makes this different from our standard treks is the technical nature. You need to be comfortable with snow-craft, steep ascents, and long hours in freezing conditions. We provide all the specialized gear—harnesses, ropes, and gaiters—and our leads have the mountaineering certifications to handle the glacier sections safely.

Is it for everyone? No. If you have done high-altitude treks before and want to transition into mountaineering, this is your logical next step. We keep our batches small so our guides can focus on your safety on the ropes. Come ready to work, and you will walk away with a summit badge that actually means something.
